The Face Spa at The Aesthetic Surgery Center is a specialty spa designed to provide the most therapeutic services and skin care products available. Microdermabrasion is one of the most effective non-surgical treatments available. When used as part of an anti-aging regime, pigment and discolorations fade and fine wrinkles soften. An added benefit can be achieved through application of 20% hydroquinone to further boost the effects of reducing sun damage and hyperpigmentation.

• Micro Peels (Dermaplaning and Gylcolic Acid)
  These peels consist of Alpha Hydroxy Acids, a chemical exfoliant, commonly referred to as the Lunch Hour Peel. Although more therapeutic than salon peels, these are mild but effective and performed under physician supervision. Monthly treatments are recommended.

  A light Jessner peel followed by 0.3% Retinoic Acid. This is used for superficial peeling and refreshing the skin.

  A Jessner peel can achieve a more thorough peel than Alpha Hydroxy Acid peels and is appropriate for patients requiring deeper peeling. A Jessner Peel haa the ability to significantly accelerate the skin rejuvenation process, especially for people suffering from acne and pigmentation problems. Repetitive peeling with a Jessner peel improves tone, texture, and quality of the skin, as prescribed.

  Permanent make-up is the ideal, low maintenance way to highlight the eyes, eyebrows or lips on a long term basis. It is not necessarily indicated to replace cosmetics completely. Because the color is placed “in” your skin, not “on” your skin, a more natural, softer look results. Lisa Gorman, one of our licensed aestheticians, is skilled in the art of permanent make-up.
