The Eyebrow and Forehead Lift procedure produces the most immediate and dramatic results. It is the most effective way to restore an
alert appearance to the eyes.
As the forehead muscle tone deteriorates with the aging process, gravity pulls the forehead down onto the
eyes. As a result, the eyelids begin to bulge, the eyebrows hang over the eyes, and the eyes begin to
narrow into slits - frown line deepen. The overall appearance is often an angry scowl.
Since 1993, the surgical option of choice for a forehead lift is the video endoscopic approach. Unlike the
traditional lifting approach which requires a major incision across the head from ear to ear, the endoscopic
approach requires only a few half-inch incisions. These incisions are almost invisible in the hair and a
natural hair pattern is preserved.
A few words about the endopscopic Eyebrow and Forehead Lift...
The video-endoscopic forehead and brow lift is the most revolutionary of all cosmetic procedures. Consistent,
lasting, dramatic results can now be achieved. Sagging forehead muscle, dropping skin and tissue is lifted
to its pre-aged position and sutured in place, the frown lines are ironed smooth. Surgery is performed through
several small slit-like incisions using fiber optics. Since skin and hair need not be removed, the hair line
remains in it's original position. The procedure is so precise that younger women with early brow hooding can
achieve the desirable open-eyed appearance they had at age 25 without a blepharoplasty. For the first time,
men with thinning hair can undergo this procedure and the surgery remains undetectable.
How do I know if I am a candidate for an endoscopic brow lift?
An individual consultation with one of our Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Maloney or Dr. Agarwal,
is the best way to determine which procedure is best suited to meet your goals. During this consultation, the
surgeon will examine you, and computer imaging will be utilized to demonstrate proposed changes to you.

What kind of anesthesia is utilized during an Endoscopic Eyebrow & Forehead Lift?
Twilight sedation is used most commonly. During this type of anesthesia, you will breathe on your own, but you

are breathing spontaneously, an endotracheal tube is usually not used.
Am I going to bruise after an Endoscopic Eyebrow & Forehead Lift?

DOSC is fully certified by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
