The Fountain of Youth in Naples?

Reported by Scott Dobroski NAPLES: A doctor in Naples could hold the key to the fountain of youth. Doctors hail a new medical procedure as a quick fix in the fight against aging. It's called Juvederm, and it's not officially on the American market yet, but a doctor in Naples is participating in a national trial. "Essentially, it's a way to treat folds and wrinkles on the face in a very quick, instant gratification way, because you see the results immediately," said Doctor Anarag Agarwal. Here's how Juvederm works: a doctor will inject the gel into wrinkles on your face, just under your skin. It makes the skin smoother, and more level with the skin surrounding it. Researchers said the injections are easy, safe, and last up to eight months. That's longer than Botox. Juvederm does not come without its problems though. Medical websites list possible side effects as redness, swelling, and bruising. The Federal Drug Administration approved Juvederm earlier this year. It will hit the U.S. Market in January. It could cost between $800 and $900. As always, check with your doctor to make sure it's right for you.
