This is a 69 year old woman who had never had any cosmetic treatments, injectables or facial surgery. She felt everything about her face was falling and her eyelids were drooping. During Dr. Agarwal's initial evaluation, he felt her eyebrows were low, both in the inner and outer aspect, giving her a stern appearance. He noted descent of her cheeks, jowling, and neck laxity, and signs of aging along her upper and lower eyelids. Because of how deep the folds were around her mouth and between her eyebrows, Dr. Agarwal recommended a staged approach with surgical lifting of the underlying muscle and fatty layers, followed by post-operative injectable fillers in the office to treat the deeper folds that surgery would not eradicate. In her post-operative photos, her frown lines have been lessened, her eyebrows no longer give a stern impression, her jawline and neck are smooth, her upper cheek volume has been restored, and she simply looks like a happier, refreshed version of herself.
