This is a 66 year old gentleman who asked Dr. Anurag Agarwal to refresh his look in the most natural way possible. What bothered him the most were his deep nasolabial folds, jowling and cheek laxity, and his neck. He is shown before and 6 months after Dr. Agarwal performed Direct excision of his deep nasolabial folds, endoscopic forehead and brow lift, and an UpliftTM lower face and neck lift with platysmaplasty. Post-operatively, the most striking change is in the depth of his folds and the sagging of the cheeks and jawline. Direct excision of nasolabial folds does not completely eliminate the folds, but it is the best option for extremely deep folds for a patient with the right skin type. There is a fine scar line as a result, but in the same location as the fold.
