Breast Lift Before and After Photos
Dr. Casey Holmes specializes in several different surgical breast procedures including a mastopexy (breast lift), which helps to raise and reshape sagging breasts.
Many women find that aging, childbirth, and breastfeeding contribute to gradual sagging of the breasts. Sagging may be caused by excessive skin, loss of breast volume, or a combination of both. Dr. Holmes may suggest placing a small silicone breast implant during a breast lift procedure to create a more youthful and lifted appearance to the breasts.
During a breast lift procedure, (with or without breast implants) Dr. Holmes will remove excessive skin and tighten the underlying breast tissues, leading to increased firmness and elevation of your breasts. The nipples can be raised, and the areolae (pigmented skin around the nipple) may be reduced in shape and size. Reducing and re-shaping these areas improves the overall aesthetic appearance of the breasts. The most common breast lift techniques used by Dr. Holmes include the following; vertical reduction mammoplasty, the wise pattern reduction mammoplasty, and liposuction.
Vertical Reduction Mammoplasty is excellent for women with minimal skin laxity or needing a moderate tissue reduction. This technique utilizes a circular incision around the areola, and then down the center of the breast to the inframammary fold. Wise Pattern Reduction Mammoplasty is best for women with large breasts or a significant droop in their tissues called (ptosis). This technique combines the lollipop shape incisions from the Vertical Reduction procedure with a horizontal incision across the lower breast fold.
During a consultation with Dr. Holmes, he will listen to your individual goals and make recommendations about the type of breast lift that will help you to accomplish them. We invite you to review photos in the Breast Lift gallery to see examples of our work.
