The UpLift™ Lower Face and Neck Lift Before and After Photos

The UpliftTM refers to a lower face and neck lift procedure that is designed to lift the jowls and neck area to restore a youthful jawline and neck contour. The neck is often one of the first areas of the face and neck to manifest signs of aging. Instead of a traditional lower face and neck lift where the tissues are lifted back towards the ears, the UpliftTM involves lifting the underlying muscle layers vertically upwards, to counteract the normal direction of aging. This leads to natural restoration of sagging muscle and fat pads, rather than a pulled, windswept type of appearance. The primary goal for our patients is to maintain their identity and not look pulled or distorted.
Because the SMAS (superficial musculoaponeurotic system) Is lifted in the deep plane, the results are sustained and the skin has minimal tension on it. The procedure is performed in our AAAASF certified operating room with deep intravenous anesthesia through incisions that are hidden in natural creases around the ears and sometimes requires a small incision under the ear. Patients return home the same day as the procedure and generally set aside 2 weeks of initial downtime, in terms of bruising and swelling. Although one does continue to age after any facial plastic surgical procedure, the aging clock is set back and one will always look younger than their chronological age.
We invite you to view our extensive photo gallery which shows examples of patients who have had this procedure performed. Please take note of the improvement in the jawline and neck that each patient experiences, in a natural manner.
