This is a 54 year old woman who had prior cheek implants placed in the 1980's, and a prior brow lift procedure. She sought the expertise of Dr. Anurag Agarwal, due to his specialization as a facial plastic surgeon. She was noticing that the prior cheek implants were more noticeable as she was aging, due to their overly high placement. Dr. Agarwal examined her and noted that the prior cheek implants were too high in position, and that her midface and neck had descended with loss of submalar (lower cheek) volume. He recommended and performed an endoscopic midface lift to remove the prior cheek implants and replace them with better shaped cheek implants in a lower position in her cheeks, an UpliftTM lower face and neck lift, transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty, and fractional CO2 laser resurfacing of the lower eyelids.
